Standards & Accreditations

TrustMark is the Government Endorsed Quality Scheme that covers work a consumer chooses to have carried out in or around their home. Malvern Solar have chosen to register with

Trustmark to ensure that we are following exemplary standards in ensuring standards of working
practice and customer commitment.

Here is a link to the Trustmark Code of Conduct. We follow this code throughout our installations.

Working with industry, MCS sets, defines and maintains the Standards for low-carbon energy technology products, contractors and their installations. This includes heat pumps, solar, biomass, small wind and battery storage. MCS is a mark of quality. Membership of MCS demonstrates adherence to these recognised industry Standards, highlighting quality, competency and compliance. MCS aims to decarbonise heat and power in the UK’s homes by giving you confidence
in home-grown energy.

RECC sets out high consumer protection standards for businesses that are selling or leasing renewable energy generation systems to domestic consumers. RECC is approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute as part of the Consumer Codes Approval Scheme and is also a TrustMark Scheme Operator.

By displaying the RECC logo, Malvern Solar shows we have agreed to abide by the high standards set out in the Consumer Code, following the consumer journey from start to finish, and in the Bye-Laws. Both the Code and the Bye-Laws dovetail with the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) installer standards.

All gas businesses and their engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register to carry out gas work legally. To retain a place on the register, Malvern Solar ensure that all engineers working with gas maintain up-to-date training and are competent to carry out your work.

NAPIT is one of the UK’s largest Government-approved UKAS accredited Certification Bodies in the building services and fabric sector, raising standards and safety across the industry and for consumers. As well as supporting Malvern Solar through a range of specialist services and training, they keep us on our toes with a thorough annual inspection to make sure that we are earning our membership, MCS accreditation, and Trustmark award, and that we are continually striving to improve.
